i had a dream last night that i talked to the president. in the dream, i told him i understood his position and understood what a corner he was backed into. Considering that everyone in his administration had unjustly used their powers, we had a little conversation about how immobilized he is and how frustrating it must be to not be able to right what has been wronged by so many people surrounding him.

my dream also involved a stumptown boy asking me out :)

but then i woke up.

and now i'm reading the news about how the new house majority leader doesn't believe there should be ANY lobbying reform and how attorney general gonzales doesn't see ANYTHING wrong with illegal wiretapping because back in the civil war they used to wiretap telegraph conversations.

and i think, that was kind of a nice dream.

but i wish it had been more realistic.
